About Our Gems

We always make a careful selection of the gem rough available from each mine.

Some of the gem mines are owned and operated by us. Mines yielding other types of gems are owned and operated by members of a loose association of gem mine operators.

We buy, sell, and trade within the association to fulfill our customer's needs.

Each piece is subjected to a naked-eye examination  before we offer it for sale to our very important customers around the world.

We observe the gem in all directions, under different lighting conditions (natural light, incandescent, fluorescent, and halogen).

This first careful observation is the key to maintaining the reputation of HusnaGems as a quality supplier.

Observation of Our Rough

We carefully observe the characteristics and quality of the material under analysis.

We look closely at the features that will confirm the right identity of the rough gemstone.

We pay attention to the inclusions. Inclusions can yield a fair assessment of the mine origin.

And of course, inclusions can affect overall brilliance and durability of the material.

We next study the surface of the stone, making sure that the rough is totally good.
